Driving Instructor 2018 – Issue 01

Happy new year and welcome to 2018, I hope it has gotten of to a great start for everyone.

The start of a new year is always a good time to review your business and set goals to achieve throughout the year. I’m sure many of you are aiming to save on the money that goes out of your bank account. With that in mind our team of ADIs have put their brains together and offered six helpful tips on how you and/or your driving school can save money on its regular expenses.

This month, I had the pleasure of visiting the latest exhibition at the Design Museum – Ferrari: Under the Skin. It’s a must-see for any Ferrari or genuine car lover, as you get a behind the scenes look at what goes on when making a car. From concept digital designs and clay moulds, to making the engines and the finish project, I found it extremely interesting throughout the exhibition.

The Internet is a huge contribution when it comes to running a business, but it’s vital not to neglect the importance of the phone. We give some pointers on what and what not to do when a potential customer calls to enquire about lessons. In this issue, you will also find out about what the best way is to drive when in New Forest. New Year is a time to make resolutions, but what are the goals for motorists in 2018? Find out on page 30.
