What is DIAmond?

Originally introduced in 1992, the DIAmond Advanced Test was made available for Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) to offer their customers an advanced test, based on the DSA’s Cardington system of marking, as an alternative to the police ‘system of driving’ advanced driving tests.

Today it is internationally acclaimed as the benchmark of driving excellence, conducted by our robust national network of professionally qualified trainers and examiners. Both the Advanced and Special test are accredited by the International Association for Driver Excellence (IVV) and the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). Both tests meet the stringent requirements for the register of fleet trainers’ test of driving ability (part two).

The DIAmond test is offered in a variety of vehicles including car, motorcycle, taxi, minibus, PCV and LGV. DIAmond also offers a desert driving test in Dubai under licence with Belhasa Driving Center.

DIAmond works with many individuals, organisations and governments on a local, national and international level to improve driving and training standards. Our most recent clients include the Army, Lancashire County Council, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, London Ambulance Service, the NHS, the Bermudan Government, Shell (Qatar), Qatar International Safety Centre (QISC), Halliburton (Oman), Hibernian Aviva Driving School (Republic of Ireland), Wiseman Dairies and Walkers Crisps.
