DIAmond Advanced Motorists

DIAmond Advanced Motorists works with many individuals, organisations and governments on a local, national and international level to improve driving and training standards. Our network of over two hundred professionally qualified trainers and examiners is accredited by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and the International Association for Driver Education (IVV).

Originally introduced in 1992, the DIAmond Advanced Test was made available for Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) to offer their customers an advanced test, based on the DSA’s Cardington system of marking, as an alternative to the police ‘system of driving’ advanced driving tests. Since 1994 the DIAmond Advanced testing scheme has been annually assessed to ISO 9002 Quality Standards and since 2000 the scheme has been accredited by the DSA.

Today the advanced test is internationally acclaimed as the benchmark of driving excellence, conducted by professionally trained examiners. Both standards of driving test are recognised by the DSA as meeting the stringent requirements for the register of fleet trainers’ test of driving ability (part two).

Our most recent clients include the Army, Lancashire County Council, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, London Ambulance Service, the Bermudan Government, Shell (Qatar), Qatar International Safety Centre (QISC), Halliburton (Oman), Hibernian Aviva Driving School (Republic of Ireland), Wiseman Dairies and Walkers Crisps.

The advanced test is offered in a variety of vehicles including car, motorcycle, taxi, minibus, PCV and LGV. DIAmond also offers a desert driving test in Dubai under licence with Belhasa Driving Center.
